  1. Thank you, Ray, that was exactly what I needed to know. I have been playing around with several different gauges of wire to make ringbolts and hooks for a 1:48 model I am building, and I felt that yours were fairly close to the right size for that scale. Thanks again for your help. Si

  4. Office Depot can print from one scale to another from a disc, and I felt that they were reasonable. Office Max was much more extreme on their pricing. Si
  5. Try "re-painting" with black india ink. You will be pleasantly surprised. Si

  7. Hey......... Try using some birch hardwood planks. Soak them for about a half hour, clamp in place and leave it to dry or use Mama's blow dryer. It will stay in the position you set it in. After you soak it in water for a while, you can probably tie it in a knot. Si

  10. Try some planks made from Birch. You can almost twist it into a pretzel after soaking. jim
