Nice and smooth flowing lines you got there. The gun ports look good. Your first layer of planking looks real nice. Good work.

well......I'd say your little inconvenience didn't hold you back! looks really good you can refine the ports while you do the second planking. are you going to do the wales and rails before you do the second planking? if your second planking is .5 mm, there would still be sufficient rise in the different thickness of wood. they can also be used as a guide..........like banding the different quadrants.

ok thay said the dry dock are now open i did some work on the vic i got both sides gunports mosly done did some black paint in the gunports still have to fix some stuff on them but so far it looking real good . so i now i have to get back the the planking . so here are some pic for u all let know what u all think so far

Maybe a stupid question or something like that but....
Those blocks on the bow, what is the purpose of that ?
To get the planks on the bow going smoothly ?
If so, why not changing it with Balsa.
Much easier to work with.
You can sand, cut ,shape it in each form that you want.

hello canone i cant work on it for a few more days .doc oders so i just going to read on stuff it hand need to heal a bit more then i will be back in the shipyard so for right now the drydock is closed lol

Alistair - Thanks for popping in, I've read your log several times over, I'll start adding some shims to the mid bulk heads. As to taking my time, I am. I spend most of my time at work fixing problems caused by being forced to do something on time instead of doing it right. I'm in no rush to finish and want to do it as right as I can.
Dragzz - Yeah I measured the keel its flat so no worries there.
Thanks every one for stopping by. Ill update again when there is more to see than glue drying.
