Wait for it Garward - mir0n has "bookmarked" the pages so all his posts are in order without other's comments. He'll edit them when he's ready, but they won't show as "new" posts so you will have to keep looking for an update.
I did the same with my "reconstructed" Build Log of Vulture - I just added posts with titles and added pictures and text when I had the time to do so.
Danny
Thanks, Danny, I understood, I will wait. The pomp turned out excellent!

Ken,why not just push your drillbit into the pin vice chuck until only .175" protrudes. That´s what I do to control depth,no need to glue tubing on then.
Dave
Good recommendation!

Hi Sjors,
I've found why you are having a problem with lining the Chains up with the Shrouds.
Take a look at the three pics below and see the difference in the height of your Chainplates - you have yours much too low (where the red line is in the first picture). The last picture is of my own Mirage.
That's why your Chains are hitting the gunports at funny angles - they don't have enough room to go above them.
No easy fix for this I'm afraid - the Chainplates would have to come off and be raised. I understand if you don't want to do this .

Sjors, you got the answer. You need to drill holes in the cross-trees for the deadeyes. On your San Ildefonso, look ahead at the rigging drawings. I'll bet you'll have to drill holes there also. If you can, drill them before you put them on the masts.
I hope you had a nice day off to watch the Coronation.
Piece of good advice!

Augie:
Bill: Thank-you! Not quite in your league of carving accomplishments, but I'm happy with him - good practice for later carvings.
Guy: Thanks for dropping by!
Sjors: I'm still here. Thanks for asking! Things have been very, very busy here...more health problems.
The good news is that my husband and I are going away for a few days to celebrate our anniversary - which is today - 31 happy years together!
The build will be on hold for a little while longer, but I do have the main deck almost planked and will be starting hull planking when I get back home.
My congratulations, it is serious date!

Hi, Brian! The wheel feather in addition fastened to the case chains or ropes in order that not to lose it at damage of loops (for example, in fight at kernel hit).
