After a longtime out of the hobby I thought I'd ease myself back in by doing something simple so I picked the Corel Victory cross section 😎🤣 So obligatory pictures of the box , full sized plan and references.

Looks nice , I built the same model a few years back and even though it's a gimmick there's something ridiculously cool and fun about watching it trundle along!

I'll just pop my head in here on the guns , I got replacements for both the main and swivels from RB models for my Pegasus and blackened them with birchwood casey brass black. The kit itself is beautiful and it's amazing how much is packed in the box😎 R

The Kindle version of this turned out to be a waste , there are no images of the plans except for 1 cross section! I've managed to get a copy of it through an antiquarian bookseller here in Australia at a reasonable price compared to what was being asked online when I went looking for a copy.

Has anyone used one of these https://www.frontlinehobbies.com.au/artesania-micro-riveting-tool-17-x-5mm Once I finish building the corel HMS Victory cross section I want to finish my HMS Pegasus! , I was up to coppering her hull when I stopped and after several move since the copper plates have disappeared , I was going to strip what plates were on her and just paint the hull but I just found this tool and thinking this might be the way to go ,i've already got the tape! quick video of construction and use here

Allanyed thanks, I had found the 1st plan but not the second one , I probably should get the scantling book to add to the library. Druxey I completely forgot i've got anatomy of nelsons ships on kindle , cross section plan was staring me in the face...

I'm looking at building the Corel HMS Victory Cross section and there's one rather obvious omission is the pump well/shot locker - can anyone point me to plans or information with the dimensions ? , my googlefu's failed me so any help would be appreciated.

Hi New/Old member intro time ,I used to be fairly active on the old MSW forums way back but I kind of drifted away after the great data booms,(lost my build logs and just didn't have the will to redo everything). Looking at getting back into the hobby with the Corel Victory cross section which could be interesting..(atleast i'm not trying a full victory model as a comeback😎🤣) hoping to be around more and re-discovering the hobby!
