I continue with the towers on the side galleries... I glued small parts with epoxy and gave it the final form.

cog reacted to Beef Wellington in HMS Snake by Beef Wellington - FINISHED - Caldercraft - Scale 1: 64 - First wooden ship build
Thanks all for the continued interest and kind words, unfortunately progress has been halted due to running out of certain line. I have an order into CMB for some more but with the current situation may take a while, work will resume as soon as the supply chain catches up...hopefully I can get some Queen Anne Barge time in in the interim.

Nice. Your's a bit (dark) greenish, compared to the one you said you want to go for. Barnacles turned out real good. Pitty you can't mix the material with paint.

Normally one could say that the fouling on this model is over the top. But in this case it may even be considered conservative based on the verbal descriptions of the ships conditions.
What ship is it in your last picture? I would think you would have some of the look of picture "a" as well:
This is going to be a very unique model and you are one of the few who has the skill needed to make it happen.

if you mix, very sloppy/streak like, the mister surfacer with some darker paint, you could get some depth in it, if you get my drift

Barnacles and the beginning of seaweed done. I need to leave a gap for masking and blending of the waterline with salt, rust and more seaweed after the upper hull is done.

You are rather quick to pick things up again Jason. I'll follow along, search for my seat ...

I don't see you accomplishing that feat ...
strange these tubs could sail when looking at the centre of gravity I wonder why it didn't turn turtle!
Why those platforms? Doesn't the deck offerr enough support, and possibilities to fixate?
