  1. I decided to start work on another model (work on Royal Caroline have reached the stage where it can be easily done at home in the autumn and winter months). The choice fell on Pandora. It is my first real scratch build (POB) according to plans from the book Anatomy of the Ship. The first phase of construction was making a plan of the bulkheads and the keel using TurboCad.

  4. Thank you very much nmbrook. I used informations from book James Lees - The masting and rigging of English ships of war. In download section you can find the table which is very helpful. Back to my model. I finally finished lower parts of masts.
  5. So I went into the making ropes and after about a week of intensive work (exactly 27 hours of actual time) I have done. There will be a total of 9 different rope thicknesses in the model (7 are ropes + 2 basic yarns from which the ropes are made). I made about 220 ropes of different thicknesses.

  7. The main masts are almost completed, now is the right time for completion of tops - the blocks under tops.

  9. Thanks Jan. I started to prepare the mast. The most difficult task for me was to make cheeks and front fish.

  12. Hi Jeff, I am very glad that you like my work. Today I´m posting last pictures from the production of hull - lanterns. This concludes the first phase of construction. After a short break I will continue with production of masts, sails and rigging.
  13. Thanks for compliment Janos, I watch your log too. I am looking forward to your next photos from the production of lanterns. The last detail of the hull remain lanterns. Now I am posting first part of pictures - body production.
  14. Buoy is completed and attached to the anchor. The production was a little more complicated, but resultat is OK. Now only lanterns left to build and hull will be completely finished .
  15. I finished the blocks for cathead and four anchors. Now I´m preparing a buoy for one of the anchors - pictures come next.
  16. Hi Jan, decorative ornaments are made from laser cutted cardboard. The last phase of production boat was made ​​anchor and oars. Now the boat is complete.
  17. Hi guys, I'm very glad you like my boat building . I finished the the rudder and I added a belt of decorations on the boat. The boat is in fact done.
  18. Very nice work. I admire your work with Sculpey That's the only thing I have not tried yet .
