Iam working the 1.350 tripitz so far I got some of the hull in paint. iam doing the paint job from 1940 to 1941here some pic .just getting ready to paint the bottom.  Comments are always welcome

Ok this is where iam now on my kit so far  I'm getting the beams on the side the top deck is now in place The top deck was really warped so I tried to take some of it out I got some out at the front that still got a bit too high The staircase should be in place but I've had a real hard time getting that photo edge rail to stick to the wood I tried a poxy and it still popped apart The staircase should be in place but I've had a real hard time getting that photo edge rail to stick to the wood I tried  epoxy glue and it still popped apart here are some pic If anybody has any idea how to glue that photo edge Rail to the wood could you please let me know  For the spiral staircase at the front

This where am on my build now I was going well till I found a  Design flaw They have cut my upper deck too short The engine plate is done wrong as you will see in the picture there is no notch to attach the engine fire wall plate too so this is going to be fun to customize

You don't get exotic woods now with the any more its just to bad

Well so far I've got the planking all done on the king of Mississippi Things are starting to go well Still got a lot more to do As I do not have any stains I'll try and figure something out here some pic

I did manage to get the bottom planking done as  I was saying in my last message I'm going to do the sides next 

welcome aboard all iam going to start planking soon the wood for planking is a bit thick its going to go in the water as i dont have a bender for it so this going to take a while 

This is not a fun kit now  There are 2 versions of this kit  Unfortunately for me I have the new version ref number 20515 the wood is much thinner  there no book to go by now it all on a DVD no printed to tell what size wood to use or goes where .its just   all Pictures this will not fun for me I will do the best I can I might need help if anyone is doing this  Version of this kit ref 20515 for now I did get some work done to it here are some pic
