  1. Evening all, bricks painted and placed, and as promised - a fresh group of 2nd KGL primed. OC.
  2. If it was me I would try to work on the different levels as separate assemblies (off the deck) and only fit them when finished - that way it avoids too much re handling. OC.
  3. Evening all, some more work around tha hay cart, I have Two resin barrels and an extra cart wheel, these were painted and weathered then glued to the cart, I was then able to glue the whole assembly to the base. Working some brick sections that where hacked out of the wall, when painted/weathered they will be placed against the bottom of the outside wall. OC.
  4. Thank you Denis, yep it was a tense moment and the air was "Blue - Green and Purple" OC.
  5. Thank you so much Alan, trying to keep it as real looking as I can - adding bit and pieces as I go. OC.
  6. Evening all, I kick myself into doing some more work on this to day, first I made up a couple of joining strips to cover the gaps on the main wall, just Two srips of wood painted and weathered than glued in place. I then decided to make up a hay cart, and proceeded to destroy it then weather it, this is one of the defences the KGL put out on the road way to try to slow up the French. OC.
  7. I think if it had been a weaker construction - there would certainly been more damage, good job it landed on its bottom also as most of tha damage was vibration from hitting the fllor. OC.
  8. This sounds good Ken, good thing about or site - we muck in together. OC.
  9. Morning all, Right little story to tell you (remember what @Kevin did with is accident with his cargo ship card build? well the other evening I came up with a "Cunning Plan" - so that I could detail the side of my hedges properly I thought about getting my dio base with all the buildings thats glued down - into my table to trap the one end of the table with two of my large plastic clamps, and the Idea was to try to raise it by putting something heavy yet large enough underneath - so I chose a large tin of imulsion paint .............guess where this is going?????? Yep...........the clamps gave way and the whole base fell Three Feet onto the floor............🤬 I rushed round the table expecting the worst the garden outhouse had fell off and was on the floor, I picked it up back on the table then I saw a few men on the floor aswel, I surveyed the base and about Ten figures had come un glued and the wall joins where the different buildings joined the front wall had come loose. So I retrieved the figures and re glued them - glued the garden outhouse back in place, but its left me with a need to cover the gaps where the Two seperate building meet - I will most likely use a couple of covering strips - glue them - paint and weather them. That will be my next job before working on the that orchard area. Could have been alot worst. OC.
  10. Will be having another day off later (tv lounging lol) but will be back on my adventure on Sunday - hope all are keeping well stocked up with goodies and Mark is not being stingy with the pop corn. OC.
