  1. Evening all, I was able to get the dio on my table - then glued down the 2nd KGL attacking from the front entrance, I also de-based some of my French and placed them attacking from the roadside and also in the Orchard - still plenty more to come yet. OC.
  2. If the hanger supperstructure is loose - try some Super Glue (Gel type) apply it to the bottom edges of the hanger using a pin or tooth pick type thing, then place back down but use some clamps or something to make it meet all the way round. OC.
  3. Evening all, a we bit more progress today, I cut the bases from the 2nd KGL that I had made earlier, these will be glued inplace tomorrow, I also took another pic of the resin 5th KGL wounded, they are slightly larger scale than my plastic ones not massivley so but you can see the difference, so what I think I will do is to display them on another section of the farm (like the kitchen garden) and keep them slightly distanced from the ohers so the scale wont be that noticable. OC.
  4. And to add to what Ken has said do you think it would conform with glue under it and pressure? as I know of an excellent glue that cleans up real well but is super strong. OC.
  5. That was my initial thoughts - how to get a natural look - so I bent some of the legs using the hair dryer and brute force, and messed around with their arms etc. OC.
  6. Evening all, my little pile up is finished apart from an airbrush flat coat to protect it. OC.
  7. Thank you kindly Mark, quite intricate work to do - just a case of uisng my fine brushes and going carefully between them. OC.
  8. Thank you Jack, thats just what I have seen some artists do using a stick with a soft end, will have to suss that one out. OC.
  9. Thank you kindly Phil, I have seen artists use a stick in one hand balancing the paint brush hand against it. I like the idea of the sponge but alas I wont have room to place that as the scene is quite congested and busy. OC.
  10. Guess we need Mark and his Popcorn machine - never fails. OC.
  11. Thats some lovely detail there mate, and the White will be an excellent base for your weathering. OC.
  12. Evening all, I decided to scan over my build pics earlier and it struck me - some of my 5th KGL (Red Jackets) I dd not paint the White stipes on their bird nest shoulder epaulettes, trouble is they are placed in the farm / glued down (a few under the doorway) If I wanted to try to apply these incredibly small fine White lines - how couuld I do it - keep my hand staeady without a hand support and even see withought being able to get up close to them. any thoughts or ideas folks? OC.
