  1. Thanks Tim, It seems wherever I go I'll always be junior to you. LOL. On a side note, with the crash MSW experienced last year, do you know if they still have the plans available?
  2. Many Thanks to all, I used to be a carpenter before my current career and I absolutely miss making sawdust fly and encouraging timber to change its appearance into something else. The way I see it, tackling a build such as a cross section will lay the stepping stones for a complete model.
  3. Hola Mija, I just finished seeing your Caravel and I must say, "Bravo". I see that you are starting with the Red Dragon. She will make for a beautiful model. I finished my Vietnamese Junk and I found an external link that explained the sails and rigging for Chinese Junks. Here is the site if you choose to have extra information at your disposal, http://www.thecheappages.com/junk/platt/platt_chinese_sail.html I will look in on your build with interest.
  4. Greetings to all, I am currently requesting access to the rest of the pdf files for the H.M.S. Triton cross section. I realize that the plans are for 1:48 scale but I am choosing to go at it on a 1:24 scale. There are two reasons why I am choosing this scale; 1. at a larger scale I can add extra details to the model, 2. I have large mitts for the smaller details required for a build. Attached you will find the photos showing what I have thus far.
  5. Hola Mija, You must be strong and dominate your urges to start on the other models. Finish the Caravel first and give it all the respect it deserves. Once you start on the Red Dragon, you can look at my Vietnamese Junk for any ideas you may want to incorporate into your model. I look forward to seeing your completed models.
  6. Hola Mija, I am pleased that you 've gotten your new models to work with, "Bien emocionante verdad". I too feel happy when I get plans and get the chance to buy the wood necessary to build them from scratch. I look forward to seeing more progress on your build.
  7. Hola Mija, You are doing an excellent job on your Caravel. The more you work on these ships that actually take your mind away from everyday problems is truly a blessing. Continue doing what you are doing and remember to put your heart into it. Raymond
