Chuck and I are friends, and he suggested I might try posting here.

I live in central NJ.

He thinks paper magazines wont sell,

but I hope they will for paper money to buy wooden kits.

I live in S. Jersey, so you wouldn't have to ship albeit $400 is higher than I can afford to spend on that right now.

I will eventually sell my entire ship model reference collection...except for these Model Shipwright books (and of course our Swan series 😉 ). They represent the best examples of writing, construction and collection of esteemed authors (Hahn, McNarry, McCallup, White, Antscherl, etc) that our hobby has offered since the 1970s. I don't believe they will ever be digitized so I shall happily read them in my old age, with trifocals, reminiscing about the golden age of ship model making.

BTW, most of these are available on the Advanced Book Exchange for 5-10$ each. So Nav is offering them at an exceptional price.

The run of MS makes rewarding reading. I agree with Greg - these are a great buy for someone out there!

Be sure to sign up for an epic Nelson/Trafalgar project if you would like to see it made into a TV series  http://trafalgar.tv

I could not agree more with Greg and David. I have the entire collection including the 4 years of the annual publication. They are a treasure of some of the finest model ship building out there. Thank you for the reference on the Advance Book Exchange.
