Hello per -Olof

So it's back on the oven!!!! And now you are starting the coppering. Make sure you keep the tiles clean and free from glue on the surface, clean them as you go. And you have taken a break and started the masts a little bit early but why not, it's a break from the glue fumes. One point the bands on the masts go underneath the cheeks as well as over them. Keep enjoying it . Regards DAVID

Great work, just the mast top is put the wrong direction in the second picture :-)

Nice job on your coppering.  Is the port side coppering complete?  It's hard to tell from the picture.  I cut the middle gun deck template i have before placing it but made the mistake of cutting the overlap between the two pieces a bit too much and wound up with the companionway and hatch openings being too narrow.  Easily fixed but easier to measure your openings against the plans before going much further.

I'm enjoying your build and will be following with interest

uhm, that car looks really...vintage...and in desperate need of TLC (time, labour, cash)...

How is the Vic going?

Funny-thing, went past Dal-Rostock last weekend, had a very good meal at the Asian diner in Mellerud :)

Happy modelling!

Both the ship and the car are very worthy projects.  It can be said that the Victory defined the spirit of The Royal Navy, and the Ford V8 defined the spirit of American hot rodding.  We call them "flat-heads" around here, as the valves sit beside the piston in the block, not on top of it in the head like later engines...

Good luck on both fantastic efforts.
