Another new chap, from Australia

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

Well first off my name is Steve and have recently moved from sunny Sydney, Australia to Melbourne, Australia after retiring from my 15 year military.  As a kid like most of us here started at an early age modelling plastic kits.  From there the hobby grew then I hit that special time of our lives when we discover 1. Women and 2. alcohol and not in any particular order. The hobby took a back seat for probably 20 years with work, wife, life and kids taking up the time.  After being injured and being permanently retired with a full military pension I was left with a lot of spare time so I jumped back into modelling to keep my mind sharp and the motor skills going plus its one thing I can still do comfortably.  I got back into the plastic kits for a while then progressed to 1/3 and 1/4 scale gliders and model ships.

I have completed a number of model ship kits and am ready to get stuck into some scratch building now.  I look forward to chatting with you all in the forums.

Steve
