I have a question about the bolts with the square heads that you made in Post #94.  How did you form the square head?  Did you heat them and then shape using the tool you showed earlier?  Or did you heat the brass to melting and use that tool as a mold?

Wonderful work so far.  I'm enjoying watching your technique.

Also thank you for your appreciation of my effort

An apparatus for manufacturing bolts with round and square heads bought here http://forum.modelsworld.ru/topic9552.html

Brass wire of medium hardness. Do not heat the wire and tools.

Cold brass clamped into the holes of the instrument. At the end of which the cylinder iron  pyramidal deepening. With its help wire end did rivet.
A lot of time spent on training.

I apologize for the English translation.

You might want to re-check the plans.  The French didn't use the ringbolt to guide the breeching rope to the rear of the cannon barrel. On their carriages, the rope went through a hole where you have the ringbolt.

Impressive work.

Yes, that is a precedent.  What I was thinking is more like this:  http://modelshipworld.com/index.php?/topic/454-24-pdr-bronze-gun-le-fleuron-1729-by-garward-m-124/
