Greetings from Victoria British Columbia ....I have built a few models before...  the latest was a museum quality (plastic) 1/350 scale of the RMS Titanic .I have just received in the mail the Corel Wooden model Vasa 1/75....I’m very excited about building this model. I have the keel blade and all the bulkheads are in place with the main deck nothing glued yet. I have met with an immediate stumbling block regarding the bow section.Have any of you fellow members actually built this model if so I’d love to make contact with you on this group

Hi Seaforth,

Welcome to MSW.

As far as your current model, there's quite a few builds of the ship in the kit area and and index here to assist:  https://modelshipworld.com/forum/150-index-of-all-kits-by-brand-and-subject-coming-soon/

Also, do give some consideration to starting a build log.  Here's how to start a log:

Welcome, Seaforth. The Vasa is a pretty ambitious model to undertake, but as you've already done a Titanic you're probably up to it. There are (as you're probably already aware) quite a few differences between plastic and wooden models - particularly the planking. But there's plenty of advice and tutorials available to help you, and the members here are also very valuable sources of help.

When you start your build log, ask for help with the bow section. I'm sure someone who's already been there will be happy to help.

Welcome to Model Ship World Seaforth.  You have received good information on starting a build log.  Posing your question in your build log will likely get a solution from the members that have built the Vasa.  Good luck on your build.
