My question is whether there is a Matte finish CA type glue. Old Collingwood Posted September 23, 2020 Share #3 Posted September 23, 2020 I agree with Mike, a flat top coat will kill off any shiny areas from the CA glue, or you could gently scrape the area with a sharp blade or light sanding, this often does the job on my projects. On another note, I thought I once read about a pva that works like thin CA. You can set up the pieces then at the seam the pva will "seep" into the crack. Anyone herd of this?
