J-class yacht Endeavour 1934 by The Sailor - Amati - 1:35

Wow, when I found this build I thought "I have hit gold here"  I can watch a master at work on the project I am working on.  I read some of the posts and saw where the mast was 5' tall, wait, that's not right, mine is nothing like that.

I went and found my box, Whew!  mine is the 1:80 kit, so the wife may not shoot me after all.  I can't wait to read through the rest of the posts and glean as much knowledge and tips as I can.  I will also start my build log too.

Yours is an excellent project Richard.

Jeff - Richard & I are building the 1:35 version which has the 5 ft mast. And Dave is building the 1:80 version. You might want to look at all the build logs. And about the part of your wife shooting you. Well Mine still has no idea what she is getting in our front room. I may need a bed somewhere. (and a small store room for my models) :o

Floyd,

there is a bedroom available over here.

Regarding the storage, we will figure that one out during the time.

My workshop isn't big but probably good enough...... :)

Richard, your J-class comes nicely together.

They are sure nice and true yachts. :)

I have to many waiting in the shipyard but hopefully I will have a mid-1970 model of the Sverige yacht waiting as well.

Have to track down the plans.

Hi guys

Thanks for your big interest and the nice comments. I promise I'll go on with my Endeavour, but this will take some time. In fact I'm not in the mood for modelling at the moment...

So please be patient with me. :)

Cheers, Richard.

Nice of you to ask Pete!

Don't worry, I'm fine. It's just...well, sometimes I need a break. ;)
