We all are getting ads while using social media every once in a while, most of them completely rubbish.

However the other day I had an ad that caught my attention but instead of clicking the link, I search them through my regular search engine.

What they have to offer is definitely in the line of items one might be looking for.
I am not affiliated with them at all, but there were two items that really got me, a mini (almost micro) drill press and a lathe.
Price wise not bad at all and also seems to be sturdy. Unfortunately made in Asia.
If anyone has experience with this company please let us know what you think about their products.

Website is Innocraftsman

Well, it seems they go thru great pains to keep their ownership private..

FWIW, just got spammed with an add from Temu with what looks like Innocraftsman's  $78 belt sander.

Temu's price: $39.68.

Their $269 mini lathe is $145 on amazon.

Here is the topic where the mini drill press was discussed.

It's currently selling for $83 on Amazon.

That discussion led me to buy this:  Mini Drill press

I reviewed it here:

That's pretty commonplace for small organizations/individuals.  I do it myself since I don't want to be deluged w/ junk mail.

I have in the past.  It's not uncommon for smaller companies to do that; e.g. etsy.com.  Mega-corps can afford to have a department field filled out; it's almost a discrete form of bragging that one has enough revenue that you can afford to deal with the ensuing noise that will inevitably arrive by not redacting for privacy.  With that said, whois is not an official business registration mechanism per se.

Is there a specific concern that you're aware of?  It's not a red flag for me, but it wouldn't be the first time I blundered into a problematic purchase.  :)

I'm not sure I would call it a concern, as I personally would not make any purchase(s) without any contact information either thru whois (or a few others)or their own website, as it is common practice for overseas some Asian companies selling knockoffs...

Definitely. It’s one of the things I love about this specific community is its ethics.

One thing to be aware of is that ICANN does not verify the contact information, iirc.
