As I'm waiting  a delivery of a 3 mm walnut plank for the guncarriages, I've
done a first test for the rail below back stern, which I can only see in photos :

Next step: the upper escucheonl, which I plan to mill from a boxwood plank

Well, here's where the real fun begins : I'll need to reproduce the wooden tympanum,
then add the overhanging cornice, so it looks all like the two photo simulations below :

As an appetizer, I finished the decorative rail of the balcony, and I have to try
to copy the tympanum in bas-relief, using the Proxxon D50 on a 5 mm plank
