The middle deck I planked with the accompanying Tanganyika wood. I have always left a small gap, and this sealed with a black putty. This is supposed to represent the caulking. Although the timber has been coated previously, some residue remained on the surface are. That was not planned, but gives the whole a very nice old look.

Hi again from Australia. Can you tell me what size drips you used on the hull, I noticed top part of the hull strips is slightly wider.  Where can I can I purchase the walnut strips?

I can't tell you where you can get the walnut strips. Unfortunately, my dealer in Germany has not survived Corona. I don't mean that in the literal sense, of course...
The dimensions of the slats are different. I have slats that are 1, 1.5 or 2 mm thick. The width is usually 7 mm. But even that cannot be generalized. The barkwoods are completely custom-made. Piece by piece according to a pattern that I drew on the hull. This is explained in my forum. The wood for this was 2 mm thick and 2 cm wide.
