On your pictures I see only bunch od messed lines. How do you even picked up lines of ribs? Magic? rfolsom Posted November 24, 2014 Author Share #63 Posted November 24, 2014 The pre-assembled stem and keel, all made of poplar, are drilled into the plywood, with temporary pins (toothpicks) holding them in place. They will probably be pinned with bamboo toothpicks from the local asian market, as these seem to be stronger than ordinary picks. The first half of the keel is shown with my bulkhead progress; X thru B. Note that the bulkheads are not precisely cut; the dark black lines show where the planking will flow. These lines I will use to fair the frames, when the time comes. This assembly actually is sitting on the marked board that will be the second half of the keel.
