Hello All, Thanks for the comments and support very much appreciated. @ Mtdoramike. Super Glue , the upper parts around gun ports, will may be the same not got that far. @aliluke. Ill give the HB a shot see how that comes out, Still not sure about tree nails, it might be too much on this build. Over the week end I should finish the 2nd layer of the hull, Ill get a few picture up then, I'm also looking at the Fibre lights, just for ideas real,

HI Erik, Hope all is well with you? Yes I guess your right, I had spent time before starting this kit, Although I'm an electrician, I did not know were to start, although the idea of Fibre optic was there I have some (two) Led lights that flicker, My Next kit may be the HMS Warrior, So the idea may just have to wait for that, I hope the ship is coming along, Look forward to an update.

Hello Eric, Grats for your build so far it Looks Great, As for the broken gallery, Contract Jotika, I guess they may send you a replacement as for how to get around it, I not that far I think Its covered with a second layer later in the build, Ps I noticed you have planked the Hull all the way to the end ( by the rudder),,? I was under the impression the you should have ended about 10mm ish, from the End and the keel, (plan Sheet 2) Bearding Line? I may be wrong. Ill Keep an eye out for how you get on with this and the build, TC

Thanks Everyone for Likes David, Yes coming alone nice and slow, reading searching before i do anything, Mtdoramike,Thanks for stopping by, It's made by UK company JoTika Ltd Added the link for you, I searched other HMS Victory kits, and this, although the most expensive, it holds the most accurate and highly detailed out the one on the market, just depends on your level, and what you want out of the build.. this is my 3rd build, and i very happy, although some what nervous of what lies ahead.

Not much of an update, as haven't done anything this week been to busy at work, I'm not sure to start the 2nd planking or gun ports, oh the choices : David, I found out what you meant by pg 10, ""If you wish to accurately represent the plank length and four butt shift system used on Victory, each plank should be either cut to length of 85mm (approximately 20ft or the planks can be laid full length and scored with a craft knife every 85mm, this latter method often looks the most convincing at this scale. The four butt shift system simply implies that the end of each neighboring plank is offset by 1/5 of twice the length of the planks (34mm) such that the end of every fifth plank athwarships only is aligned (ie separated by four plank shift)"" Once i figure this out ill do this on the upper decks..

Hi Sam, I thought it worked out Ok, Although, I think I know what David is speaking of, if so not sure if this will be completed on the upper decks wait and see.
