Nice work Mike, I like your wood selections. Does the yellowheart hold its colour or does it turn. I bought some dye I am going to try on some osage orange, I am hoping it will keep it yellow, for on the Pegasus.

Truly magnificent, beautiful carvings. You have a wonderful talent.  If I could only build a boat worthy of one of your carvings !! Merry Christmas

Here are some of the plans, first one is an overall, second one showing how to build masts and spars and the last two are all about the rigging these are just for the foremast. The plans are all scale size so any measurement can be accurately taken off of them , I believe they are 35" x 50" and there is 14 of them. The main mast has three dedicated sheets and the mizzen has one. One sheet is all about the sails and the rest are the construction of hull and various items required. The instruction book is 36 pages which may seem small but with all the information you need on the plans the instruction book is more than adequate. It does an excellent job of outlining the various steps and is easy to follow.

Thanks so much Dave. Once stove is done I need to build a windlass, which will be a first for me. I think I am looking forward to this

Good Morning Mike, Thanks for stopping in. The Trajta is a fine looking boat and kit, I love the bow on her. I don't blame you for wanting to pull her out. You will enjoy building her and will end up with a great model. I am just finishing up the ships stove, almost done "accessorising" it and may have some pictures later.

Hello all just a small update, Thanks to all for stopping in, for your likes and great comments.
I finally got the courage up to cut all the holes in the deck and I must say all went good, and I also finished up my ships wheel.
Not much to be said the pictures say it all. the cuts were made with a 1 mm end mill bit then finished with a file.
The very first picture shows the outline for the aft hatch which I spent considerable time measuring, marking and double checking..............even though it was perfectly square and centred I had to erase all of it as this is the bow     . Things got better after this, glad I didn't start to cut. The deck has one coat of poly now on it and will get two or three more
    Enjoy

All deck furniture and masts are just sitting in their places, nothing is permanently fixed yet.

Yep Mike lots of warm clothes would be a good idea. I have been running to and from my garage today  in a pair of shorts and it's -23 C. It is, although only about 20 m. from my house and garage is heated .
The plans are really something, they don't miss a thing it's just a matter of sitting down and looking at them. A problem I seem to still have
