  1. this is my presentation at our local show last weekend. 800 models in the tables, the dreadnought got a silver in masters
  2. Absolutely post the photos, it’s a great opportunity to be a reference page as well.
  3. So 12 months on our annual show is on again this weekend. I’ll be doing a presentation on ships which will be on Utube https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWHaH-ytx9A&list=PLoLsffCDGviPcoF0ydqffVmmE2f-Ru-I2&index=1&pp=iAQB
  4. Pretty much done, flywheels and belts will be added after painting
  5. There appear to be many iterations of these but they are cool and a massive OH&S risk!
  6. Now for something completely different, a stable engine and a thresher. Nice little resin kits
  7. Weapons added, bombs and air brakes to go.
  8. About half way through the base coat
  9. So good progress today, exhausts done, the yello finished and my first Ork!
  10. Primer coat down. Again it’s nice working in a large scale. Found a few gaps that need fixing before I progress
  11. I’d build that for sure
  12. Heaps of build options, I was never aware but this genre is MASSIVE! Some of the painting I saw in Malcom this year was out of this world good. some really big mold seams to get rid of but very well designed to hide most of them. After 3 sessions I’m ready for paint
  13. Don’t really know how to label this, I am not into Warhammer but this looked fun. I bout my adult son one then decided why not. Great detail, great fit, unlimited imagination. Should be fun to paint
  14. Great stuff, no one else is building her at the moment that I can find
  15. Grunge & rust, just need a clear coat tomorrow. The two figures in the background will be in the cabin
  16. So as a distraction I’ve painted up all the nuclear waste drums that will be under the Shmel in the seascape. Weathering to go and I’ll have them on the sea floor in radioactive mud so the paintwork does not need to be perfect
  17. Well I got a wooden base made for her, a make plate from Sweden of all places about was cheaper than here (the site had a .au suffix so who knew, then a mate tells me it needed another figure
