    The kit stacks with the Pontos additions and the painted 3D stacks. I’ve just noticed the front one will need a bit of surgery

    Stoker would be the worst I reckon. Whilst I have zero interest in learning 3D printing, I see it as legitimate to the hobby as figure painting or busts. I can’t sculpt or draw but happy to throw paint on it.

    Yes, it’s tricky. Build, make or paint? At this scale I doubt anyone can replicate the accuracy at this scale but it is the future I think.

    Done! It’s a horrible little kit quite frankly

    Clear coat done. Hopefully get some chipping fluid on later to day or tomorrow

    Clear orange over silver, tidy up and next a clear coat

    Love a of putty required, the gaps are big, about 3 primer coats now a base black coat.

    So massive gaps, big seam lines but it cost $10, that’s about $6 USD for you northerners. Ready for paint!

    I’ve always loved Dune since reading the books in high school. This little delight cost $10 and it m in a group build with our club, everyone will do if differently. I think I’ll just be tradition with a few extras ….

    I did a silver 10% overspray then a gloss coat. Decals added, I’m not going to add the big decals for the numbers as it just won’t work with what I’m trying to achieve (a 1907 ship and a 1917 blimp).

    Different width masking tape. Silver overcoat, then mask again for a full day, tan spray, remove mask, remasking at the moment

    I also have this kit for a ‘one day’ build

    Tedious indeed, dark silver respray then 4 hours more masking and still not done
