  1. Because I’m in build mode, and I’m probably not going to use it but I’m throwing together the 8” howitzer as well. Lots of gaps and running repairs needed so far.
  2. I spent sone time last night looking at photos online, and sone have the pole in the awnings (usually stateside photos) and in Europe they are not so visible, it does give an idea mind
  3. Finally, I’ve added the curtains that appear on every one I’ve seen. Paint next.
  4. And later; the tracks, I just need to sand down these little injection ports
  5. Next I’ve put off till last as I’m dreading it. At least they are only clipped togeather with no glue
  6. So today I cut off all the remaining pieces off the Sprue and cleaned them up. every online build says the roof section has sink marks all down the centre. For once had a win and I had none whatsoever but I noticed Rock Lawler on his Propaganda site had put a strip down the middle to cover it. Made perfect sense so I did it as well and riveted mine in
  7. I’ve got some very thin stuff used for 1/350 railings
  8. Good point but it will be inside a cowling so not really worth th effort.
  9. So we are all probably old enough to remember the horrible soft plastic from Airfix, and according it’s bloody hard to work with. I’ve cut and sanded for hours so I could improve on the cylinder heads to look a little better. I’ll do the wiring once I’ve painted it.
  10. The engine, lots of pieces and lots of clean up needed. Full day to clean up and add to the engine block, lots of blobs cut out to help with alignment and tomorrow I can add sone details. The beauty of this engine is that it’s simple but lot and lots of reference photos
  11. Coming togeather but you can see from the size or the gaps on this fuel tank, this is the fight I’m having with the poor molds
  12. You can see the process of development 100 years after, just not then. Like why do they need a front steering wheel? Obviously not but back then? I grew up in a farm in the 1970’s with big tractors but the difference to farmers by was very very different
  13. Thanks, there are a heap of reference photos of her. I got some aftermarket rivets as the kit ones are so damn rough. Here’s a good one of the underside
  14. So the undercarriage is done. Most wind be visible once the upper body and tracks are on.
  15. The undercarriage of the Holt Tractors. It’s a really cool design by Rodin poorly made. I added a few rivets to the front steering wheel
  16. I have a lot of files, I’m giving them a massive work out. I’m dreading the first primer coat.
  17. So after the beauty of the 3D print, the Roden tractors are going to fight me the whole way like my Zvezda Borodino. Misaligned and more flash than a pimp.
  18. So I got a lot of warping but once I got my head around what I need to do I but the bullet and made a start. This set is so cool.
  19. Yes please. My plan is to tow it in this configuration as it looks good, using 2 holt’s
  20. I’m sorry, it whilst it’s massive it’s pretty cool
  21. The configuration is really cool, as one tractor rows the barrel and the second Carrie’s the frame
