  1. I used his brand, I am finding (and no doubt my fault), it does not like really fine work. This is a haze grey overspray at around 30/70 thinner
  2. This one’s been a bit of a shelf Queen for a while. I thought I’d get some paint on today
  3. Done for now. Next step is to sink her in resin with a rescue boat beside.
  4. One of the harder things I’ve had to do for a while.
  5. Now I’ve finished my French thingy, I want to finish this. To represent wood grain I’ve used a wood grain stencil with a mid brown base. Oat then a dark brown spray through the stencil. Then and orange filter. Next will be a gloss coat. next, hours of masking to do the ribs, buff, base coat then graduated lighter shades after masking.
  6. From everything I’ve read all their armor was as rough as F. Plenty of opportunities to weather a tank built and operated by drunkards!
  7. And done. The 3D printed wheels are very nice.
  8. Tools added, aerials added. Dust next.
  9. Chipping and a neutral wash.
  10. Base coat! I’m quite happy with this, chipping tomorrow
  11. So a few days off. I sprayed a clear coat over the base red/brown. Then a chipping fluid coat, and now green. Base that now needs to be lightened up. The wheel has about 4 different gradients, I’ll do some grey after.
  12. Primer and Foundation coat down. Once set I’ll give it a matte coat before chipping fluids
  13. Fairly straight forward. The rear gear rack is also part of the aftermarket set but it’s waaay to hard for me. I’m happy with the plastic and just added some rivets
  14. Starting in the turret. The sleeve is bolted on in the real thing so a little bit of aftermarket again to add to plain plastic
  15. Most of the lower hull done. I need to do up the equipment straps later. the aftermarket wheels compared to the kit ones.
  16. Lots of little PE bits. It’s certainly more simple than a ship that’s for sure
