  1. I don’t know how people ever brush painted these things.
  2. Very close to the finish now, I need to do some airbrush touch ups and rigging, then the windscreen and guns
  3. So decals done, a bit of weathering to go plus props etc etc
  4. And the base coat done. I’m not sure if the colours are exact but Meh!
  5. And that’s the big bits, primer coat down. I’m going to give it a day to dry, then a light sand and I’ll place all the eyelets for the rigging lines, then preshaded before camouflage
  6. Making a start on the fuselage’s interior. The kit has none. And big open hatches. The cockpit is metal framed and the rest of it is traditional metal/wood frame and canvas. a bit of scratch building now, the upper gunner’s area and the frame for the lowered underside gun.
  7. Wings; big gaps, engines on as there is a gap between the top of the engine and the leading edge of the wing . There are large gaps in the wing join pieces of almost z1mm.

  9. My local club is doing a 50 years of matchbox build which needs to be done by the end of May so I need to pause the other builds. I picked a very ugly kit.
  10. So that’s the base coat of the camo done. I need to give it a clear coat next but, I have to start a different log as I have a club build to do…
  11. So after hours of masking, the base coat. Touch ups then black borders to be done yet.
