Whoa! I LIKE it. This look really does give one the true sense of scale, how large these fighting ships were and how dense the accommodations and where the essentials of life were kept for long sea journeys.

This model is waaaayyyy too big for me. Where will you find the space for this little gem?
😂
Wow.

Nice model! Excellent sails. Love the spartan blue base.

Nice job. I especially like how you’ve paid careful attention to the finish and coloration of the ship.
The Master Korabel kits are well-designed and have excellent materials (with the exception of sub-standard rigging items- mainly the “rope”).
Some sailing era kit manufacturers are upping their game by including better rigging components. Blocks. Rope. Even very thin good quality sails.”Yay!” - about time.
I’ve built only one of these nice kits; there’s likely another in my future…

Thanks. Better an appreciation later than never! This may be one of the oldest ship models in existence. That hull is long, but the draft is also severe. Perhaps these are artistic exaggerations? If this is a ‘funereal” barge it appears the design would have resulted in taking the royal to the underworld very hastily with 16 HP (human power)!

One of the nicest executed clinker hulls I've ever seen. Wow.

Beautiful workmanship. A stunning and totally unique model. Congratulations. Nice photos too!

I like the sailors hanging out. It's good to give some context for people I believe. Adding just one - or two scale-accurate figures- in this case, does the job.

I believe the centerboard does operate. Joe's fit and finish woodworking as well as the tiny metalwork (check the oar locks and clinker fasteners) is top drawer.

I think most ship modelers would agree that Joe Jordan made some really nice baggiewinkles.

Thanks, Chris. I'll double check with the model maker on his description.

Impressive: a new definition to "half hull."
I KNOW you had lots of fun building this jewel!
Cheers,
Ron
