i use these at work , theyre very thin but woven like carbon so they don't break very easily, they are quite expensive though, but outlast the thin separating disks by a lot Pacific™ Abrasives Aluminum Oxide Cutoff Discs | Stuller

not sure really, if i don't sell it i will build it, i have already built a corel version but not doing the research , i didn't like the way it came out, this was a few years ago and after joining this forum i think i understand that research is just as important as the actual build . i know have several books on the Victory so feel that i am prepared for anything , i think i just thought that the caldercraft kit is recommended by almost everyone as the most accurate version of the ship today and i would like to build it just for that, but if its not to be , then its not to be , thank you for your encouragement , i still have to finish my endeavour and if its not sold by then , well i guess i will be building it...

i want to build a victory , i bought this kit because i couldn't justify $1200 for the caldercraft one (still cant actually ) but looking through robert29's log and some others i think i will bite the bullet and try to save for that kit, i have taken the box lid off the kit to look at but thats it , its completely nib, i would like to sell it for $550 plus shipping , please let me know if you are interested via pm or if you need pictures , also which state you are in so that i can get an accurate cost for shipping thank you for looking Anthony

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
