Looks great Bob. I think the tamiya paste would also be good.
i also have several rockets in my basement that I may use to test paint finishes on. 😉 Seems to have worked well for you!

Hi Bob, do you think you’ve identified the cause of the orange peel finish first time around? Just need more practice with the airbrush? Good luck! I’m certain you will get this done to your liking.

Hi Voyageur,
The top blade is for cutting softwood, hardwood and plastics. It's ok and cuts fast and well, downside it tends to leave toothmarks. The second is for cutting nonferrous metals, softwood, hardwood, chipboard, plastics and glassfibre items etc. Can't comment as I don't have this one. The last one cuts the same items as the previous. I use this for cutting Pearwood and European Boxwood, leaves a nice smooth finish. Hope this answers your question.

BTW, I see that you live in Indianapolis. I grew up in in the small town of Elwood about 45 miles northeast of Indianapolis and my sister lives near Fishers. I have basketball in my veins and still follow Indiana and Butler.
Lol, my coworker is from Elwood and we have fun with that! We’re on the north side not far from Fishers. Although, we are Purdue fans 😀 But we’ll root for Butler too.

Looks like you've got a good start on this. I'll follow along on your project. I think this is a great ship and I'm looking forward to seeing it completed. Good luck on the tool wish list but be careful, it is a slippery slope once you start down that path. I'm speaking from experience of course!

Welcome back. Glad you had a good time.
nice job on the roof. Seems a shame to cover up all that nice work beneath it.!
