Working on the Mizzen mast yards. Worked late tonight so not much time spent on the ship tonight.

So here we go. This crane/hoist set up was i bit tricky. I like things to be symmetrical but this is probaly not done on real ships. I think I got it close enough.
The hooks of this hoist are connected to eye bolts in the deck either side of where the ships boats is stored.
It seems go look good to me.

The two yards on the bowsprit are now made and added. The end is getting ever closer finally.

Thanks for looking in guys.  No foot ropes. Well not in the plans anyway. I about to start coiling up ropes from old cutoffs to add more to the Belaying pins

I remember this step. Yes it is extremely hard wood. Same as the wood blocks under the transom. Looking great with the lights. Your kit is somewhat different. My ships boats are made of white metal and your lanterns are pre made? You had blue plastic  windows where mine were green plastic.  Very interesting the differences from kit to kit.

She is looking beautiful. Top effort in the herringbone decking. Shame that the next level will hide alot if it. Good work

More rigging. Tied blocks to end of yard arms. Not very exciting bit it's progress.

Beautiful work on the rigging! Does it have ropes on the yards for sailors to stand on? I cant imagine climbing so hight there.

What a beautiful build.  Looks brilliant. The ornamentation sure has come up good. With Mamoli you usually have to scrape and file away lot of burrs from the the metal ornaments.
