I agree with almost everyone about model space kits and their service and forum but Alan from Model space who
did the whole session of the Victory and did a great job is a much better person to go to for help as well as every one else on the model space forum instead of bobby of Genesis, because Alan will reply back Bobby will not

I feel very honored that you consider my work as some sort of guide for yours. Of course you can use all my material as you see fit. If anything I'd only ask that if you post that material in other sites, give credit where credit is due. 😉

Having built the sovereign of the seas from Deag it's a stunning ship and no way I could afford it if it wasn't a part work plus you get the back up of there forum. There instructions are second to none with lots of information and history.

I just found this thread.
FYI, I have two of the Model Space kit subscriptions. The HMS Victory and the Japanese WW2 1:250 scale Aircraft Carrier, Akagi.
I am at month 6 with the Victory and month 5 with the Akagi. Both kits are very good quality. The support of high quality construction videos and excellent construction manuals make the progression of each build very well explained with loads of full color photographs. The manuals also contain a lot of historical information and photos.
I am very well pleased with both models. I do wish the Yamato was offered in the USA. Maybe one day soon?

Hi Sjors,
I agree with all others that replacement is the best solution. I think otherwise you will have always a different right and left side of the hull.

Thank you Dimitris.
Thank you demonborger... so it wasn't me...
Bindy: I won't call it a mistake... it's just a glitch. Thanks for your comment.
I'm including a couple of photos of how far I am with the planking. I know I don't have to plank the whole deck, but I just want to do it.
I am skipping for now the planking of the edges of the deck between frames 6 and 12. Since I will have to break the tip of those frames after the first hull planking is done, to help form the bulwarks, I will plank that area after that operation to cover the broken parts.
Also I want to show you this notebook I had made by a friend here. This will be my written log of the Royal Louis. I will write here every step I do and when. Also to more accurately keep track of the time invested.
Cheers to all!!!

Hi Ulises,
You're doing a great job on her. I think you hit it dead center on why there's not more builds of her... cost and let's add size.

Hello there
may I ask why it takes Model expo to ship a backordered kit like the Constitution when they
are the ones who manufacture the kit or any other kit that is back ordered acturly I purchased the
kit from the USS Constittution store and that they had to comtact Model expo for the kit and that was
ordered on the 12th of last month I wish PayPal was in the picture I'm still waiting
