thought had not put the candles. but the book of 74 guns, is very good. Now if I'm thinking ... I tried to make the sticks, hand brushing and not come out. on the lathe, I can not use guvias because the stick is too long. I found the solution. two pieces, with a hole to fit and glued with sandpaper. with this method, it bounces off the stick very right. at the ends, I put rubbers, very tight, so you do not split ends. gluing one day and in 15 minutes the stick is made. cabrapente- 332 replies

Today I received a book dedicated to the rigging of 74 guns. I have been a surprise, because it contains the plans for its construction.- 332 replies

Spanish is written in "escuadra". but I think the best definition is carpenter's square. Is it true? cabrapente- 332 replies

this is achieved, giving little by little and with some practice. the straight cut, only you can do it with the band saw. I had a small as PROXXON, and the blades cost money . now I have this red which is small, and very good. you can put different width blades
-
I think the same. of all jobs, 1% use the jigsaw. everything else, I use the bandsaw.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
