Your model is amazing. Would be interested in learning more about your building processes and techniques.
Rick
Thanks Rick, my building is nothing special. I don't believe there are 2 modelers that create alike. Being a scratch builder for the most part it's just the ability to recreate what I visualize. I've learned how to cast, mold, vacuum form, design photo etching and modify stuff to fit a purpose. In the new world 3D printing has replaced many of these processes to achieve the same results. 3D printing will open a whole new world to model building.

Greetings, Your project can only be described as Museum Grade. A pleasure to watch your progress.
I have a question if I may. The barrels on the Bofors seem a fraction thick. I guess it could be the camera/lighting angle.
And then it could just be my old eyes playing tricks. Nice work with the camera by the way.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers
Thank you, I think it was the primer & final paint that made them or look thicker.

A wonderfully clean build Nick. It would be interesting to know how long the various stages of build took?
Never kept track, but the full construction of this model was years. Polamer resin molds, photo etcghing, etc, finding materials, photos that I didn't have, drawing or blueprints took so much time.

Hi, Nick. It is in 1/250. There's an embedded link in my post (click the underlined name).
This is the first time I've seen a card stock model. Very impressive and a talent to constuct. Impressed by the detail, USS England, excellent model.

I'm quite impressed by your skills, Nick. I have been following your build with interest, having recently completed a card model of USS England (DE-635). I also had a 3rd cousin aboard Samuel B Roberts at Samar.
Thanks Chris, what scale is your England build, would like to see photos.
