    Hello Nearshore, congrats to your build. She is very nice, was my first book from the series The Anatomy of the Ship. Since then she stayed somehow special. Being special (and smaller scale), I started only recently, "training" with other kits first. I like the look of the hull. You applied a couple coats of "WOP". Living in Europe and English not being my native language - what is "WOP" exactly? Wish you well with her, keep up your expertise! Robert

    Hi Dusan, I am from Slovakia, living now in Switzerland. Stumbled on your log through Winchelsea - she is beautiful. Glad to see somebody from Slovakia in this forum performing this hobby so beautifully. Myself I am a newbie, fighting HMS Pegasus from Amati. Made a couple of mistakes very soon, they show now and take time to cover up. Well, learning by doing... Keep up your work, very nice, I like it very much. Will be following you on your journey. On the other builds: Your F-15 sports nice decals - where are they from? F-15s are usually less colourful than, say F-14s, which I miss a bit. They are mostly gray and I have couple of them to build...

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
