    Hi! Been holding on to this monograph for a while now and finally decided to give it a try. I will mostly use pear wood, maybe switch to boxwood when it's time to plank the hull - I probably have a year or two before I need to decide that... Here is a quick start: Niklas

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
