Hello, many thanks for your motivating comments This drilling pattern is repeated twenty times. It was therefore obvious to use a template here. This I soldered together from brass. With a small handle the application easier. So that now, with a small graver holes all be precisely prearranged, without having to measure each time the model. See you around ...

Hallo Ed, your buildingreport is an impressive and instructive demonstration to build a professional historical ship model. To study the method of step by step instructions with beautiful pictures is a pleasure. For this, I thank you. -
Hello, here are further preparations for Installation of carronades and cannons. Meanwhile accumulated on the deck of my French corvette a lot of "junk". These pieces of equipment I have not yet fixed. On the blank ship deck the holes for the attachment of the breeching ropes can be more easily drilled. I also built a working aid together. This enables me when drilling support forward in order to guide the drill more safely.

Hello, in addition to the breeching ropes for carronades I am also working on the breeching ropes for the 18 pounder guns. A small detail for the height adjustment of the gun barrels had to be done. The straps of the wood blocks had to be installed. In the background is the breeching rope already seen.

Hello, the nice words are a motivation again and again. Thank you for that! Under no. 244 of my building report I showed the production of hooks for attaching the gunport lids. This version was not satisfactory for me. The original hooks were of flat metal, not from round material. So I made the hooks again. This time I let them etching of brass sheet 0.3 mm. That's not very expensive. The drawing for the exposure film I made with a vector drawing program. And now here are some pictures that probably speak for themselves, better than my poor translation. Here the comparison: Links of the new hook, etched, the right of the old hooked wire. The last picture for today a look at the starboard side of the corvette.

Hello Friends, thank you for your encouraging comments. At the bow of the French corvette, a small seawater pump was installed. Through a water pipe with a suction sieve, water was pumped up. In the area of the underwater hull 3 more suction sieve were installed. This suction sieve I made out of brass sheet 0.3 mm. To prepare, I show the following Series:

Hello, it has been some time since my last update to my building report. So I made in the meantime other small but important details. So the timberheads received post covers in roof form. Another detail to protect the hull from the anchor flukes was added. Here you can see some pictures. I hope that you like it,
