Omega1234 got a reaction from canoe21 in Majellan by Omega1234 - FINISHED - 1/200 - Luxury 37 m Motor Yacht - Miniature
Thanks Lawrence! I must admit that I'm also quite surprised that so much detail can be fitted into these tiny hulls as well. I always think to myself, if masters like Phil Reed and Donald McNarry can do it, then I can at least try to emulate their skills and achievements. I may never be as good as them, but, what the heck, I can still have fun trying!
Thanks once again and all the best.
Cheers

Omega1234 got a reaction from popeye the sailor in Majellan by Omega1234 - FINISHED - 1/200 - Luxury 37 m Motor Yacht - Miniature
Hi Denis
Thanks! I'm really loving the way she's coming together as well, particularly as this is the first time I've ever built something like this, ie modern and multi decked. It's actually going to be sad to finish her...come to think if it, I may just have to build another modern luxury cruiser so that Majellan won't feel left out.
All the best!
Cheers

Hi Dave
I'm just sitting here shaking my head in disbelief! I can't even imagine being able to replicate what you've done.
You, Sir, are doing one hell of a fabulous job on those carvings.
Cheers and all the best for the weekend.

Hi Piet
No worries! I can assure you that there'll be more than a few cushions scattered around the ship, including the Sun Deck area. There will also be some large umbrellas on the aft of the Sun Deck; just to give a hint of what it'd be like to sit back and relax on a nice tropical cruise while the crew toil away to make the guests happy.
Cheers and all the best!

Omega1234 got a reaction from mtaylor in Majellan by Omega1234 - FINISHED - 1/200 - Luxury 37 m Motor Yacht - Miniature
Hi Greg
Many thanks! I can't promise about the bubbles, but I can always try....
With respect to the stern door, yep, you're right because it's designed to be lowered to water level, thereby enabling the jet skis and tender to be launched and recovered.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Hi Pete. Cheers and many thanks!
Hi BDGiantman Thanks for your comments. Greatly appreciated!
Hi Mark Thanks and I really appreciate your comments!
Hi Elijah. Thanks for your comments and yep, I've designed each deck to be completely removable so that the interior can be viewed. I'd hate to have put all the work into the interior, without it being able to be enjoyed. Thanks once again.
Cheers
