    So, 2 years and 11 months later, I have picked up this build again. got the last brick layers on and the top bricks as well. Still need to trim the stepped face.

    Never really blew a deadeye out like that, but I have had deadeyes where the separation between holes failed. Nic

    Foremast standing rigging is done.

    Yes they did use wire. 3mm dia wire is VERY strong. personally, I use CA when I cut the wire so it doesn't unravel. To fasten, I loop the wire through an eye, when use a 1/4" piece of 1/16 aluminum tube to crimp the wire in place. Nic

    Yes, printing 11 x 17 worked perfectly. That must have been the size of the original instructions. Nic

    Hi Clare, I did, but it's still too small, even filling the page. but you gave me an idea to try - I'll see if I can print it on 11 x 17 Nic.

    Unfortunately, it is the correct instructions, but it only prints out on 1/4 of a page, much too small to be useful. Thanks anyway. Nic

    Thanks, but that is for the 1/200 model. I need the 1/100, which is much more detailed - the instructions are 38 pages Nic

    Need instructions for the Aurora Heller 1/100 kit. hismodel.com has a pdf, but it prints too small to read. The Heller.fr website has it advertised, but out of stock. Any help is appreciated. Nic

    Hi, Our Constitution is based on 3 years' research by Larry Arnot, including interviews with Constitution Commander Tyrone G. Martin (Ret). Larry also scoured the log books from that period as well. Our kit has been deemed the most accurate representation of that period by the USS Constitution Museum. I also agree with Jose Gonzales about the lower sails being put up out of the way in battle. Best regards, Nic
