  1. I think its a stuck gear hence why the driver is hanging around his pit - keep trying the gears..... Could be that or just an excuse waiting for the Popcorn man to arrive......😁 OC.
  2. Thank you kindly Mark, yep she is going to be quite a used tank with something wrong with the engine - hence why the covers will be off it. OC.
  3. Evening all, more progress today - I painted some of the details in both the drivers compartment and also the engine bay, then I gave them a few dirty washes and highlighted the same as I did to the engine, then the engine was placed along with another vent hose. OC.
  4. Thats looking really nice Alan - such a smart kit to start with and you are doing a fine job of it - remember its scale😲 OC.
  5. Same as our other brothers have said - it looks really good like a mirror - looking forward to see that on the Star. OC.
  6. Thank you so much Alan, it was trial and error - never knowing if I had gone over the top, next off will be the engine bay that will get the same treatment. OC.
  7. Evening all, more work today on the engine - I stared off with a few stages of Flat Alum in a few areas, then some Flat Black vents hose etc, I followed this off with my dark Brown wash all over then wet brushed to give a more overall finish, I finished off with some White dry brushing. So here we have a well used engine..... OC.
  8. Something rather nice about the shape of the M48 and M60 and love the hull almost boat like, and boy where they made to last. Nice work Denis. OC.
  9. A bit more done today, I decided to make a driver figure - well this became more of a mission than first thought, same issue as fighter plane figures - over scale, so even after experimenting with Two different leg sections, no way would he sit in his seat with the top of the tank dry fitted. So plan number Two - to fit him on the edge of the drivers compartment communicating with another figure who will be standing near the open engine bay. OC.
  10. I will paint him in a similar way to how I painted this guy for my British Chally - OC.
  11. I foregot to mension - I am not too fussy about some overspray on the drivers seat as I have a driver figure to go in the seat, I have the same set of figures as I used on my chally (modern US Tankers). OC.
  12. Evening all, more progress to day, the airbrush was out again - I mixed up some flat White and gave a few thin layers to the inner parts. OC.
  13. Evening all, I managed to get a bit more done on this today, I got the airbrush/booth out and put a few layers of my Vallejo Primer down on the drivers compartment./engine bay/engine and a few other bits, then after drying a attacked a few over spays with some wet and dry. oc.
  14. Alan some people paint the (inside) of the clear blocks with Red/Orange/Purple, it can look quite good - like these pics of the net. OC.
  15. Evening all, more work on the power plant - more sub assemblies that were then brought together - nearly built just a few more fittings - also a dry fit in the engine bay (snug fit) OC.
