Later to day will be playing with some plastic trees trying to make them look lifelike, will try a few ideas form some vids I watched, these ones are quite bland looking - they diidn't look to bad while they were still wrapped inside an envelope but when I took them out "dear o dear". Anyone have any ideas to stop that horrible indigestion that anti biotics can cause - taking them with milk and food as the admiral advised, but the gas is horrible. OC.

Evening all, thank you for all the wishes, I decided to do abit more as sitting around watching rubbish tv was driving me up the wall, so - I decided to carry on with the scenery/hedges/orchard grass areas, first I hacked the hedge then added a few different sprinkles, then I cut the remaining grass strip, then started to blend the are in with different grass sprinkles. Getting there I think. OC.

Sorry that I have been slow on this the last few days (need a kick up the bum) to be honest I aint been so good, I suffer from Angina and the last few days I think I have a chest infection - tight chest when coughing breathing in or out, I am on anti biotics to clear it up. I will so a bit more as the boredom is driving me nuts. OC.

They look fantastic brother. OC. -
If it was me I would try to work on the different levels as separate assemblies (off the deck) and only fit them when finished - that way it avoids too much re handling. OC.

Evening all, some more work around tha hay cart, I have Two resin barrels and an extra cart wheel, these were painted and weathered then glued to the cart, I was then able to glue the whole assembly to the base. Working some brick sections that where hacked out of the wall, when painted/weathered they will be placed against the bottom of the outside wall. OC.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
