New kids (0,3 mm eyelets) on the block... I tried to use the aftermarket brass hooks (like Jim) but really no enough space for the couple of them, needed in every side of the carronade. Using those 0,3 mm eyelets I'm ok with the setting of the standing & running rigging of the tackling -

Thanks again Jason.. What type of 3 mm blocks have you used for the gun tackling, natural or walnut? Cheers. -

I still believe that the transformed eyelets to hooks are more authentic.... The point is that i need to cut/reduce their stem to have room for the tackling. I wonder if I can find smaller in aftermarket... -

Well, you're right Jason, hooks are really too long... -

Time for a kind of hair-cut to the elevation screw... Jason, how did you reduce the height of the screw, using a plier or a tumbler tool? Thanks again -

Temporare placement of a carronade just to estimate how anteriorly should I slide and glue the carrier on the respective sliding bed -

I try to deal with those 2 mm blocks but really can not... Such tinny structures, without lateral grooves to help myshelf for the stropping. I give up !! -

Hi again mates What's your opinion on sealing rope knots with cyano? I'm asking especially for mid to long-term time results. Thank you. -

Jason, Jim, I'd like to ask you about the 3mm blocks, have you filled down those blocks corners or did you strop them as they were in the kit? Cheers -

Jason I'm thinking to use the standard eyelets from the kit, especially to make the tackling with the 3mm blocks.... -

I'm fully disappointed with the quality of the 2 mm aftermarket block. No lateral grooves to help rope stropping, especialy in such micro-dimensions..... Thinking again those 3 mm blocks of the standard kit..... -

Thanks Jason. Have a look here (#276), http://modelshipworld.com/index.php?/topic/634-hms-snake-by-stergios/page-19 For 1mm breeching rope the ideal is making the seizing 1,5 mm in diameter. I used a 1,5 mm wire to wrap around the thread eight times, thin cyano to seal it and a small metal plate to retract the seizing. The ideal thread for seizing is always 0,25 mm in diameter but how i told you i prefered and used a larger ordinary sewing thread. Cheers -

For the zip seizing of the breeching rope I've used an every-day's sewing line.from the local store. I have 'nt trimmed yet the excessive line from the seizing -

A couple of shots showing the consecutive steps for the "rigging" of the 9 lbs cannons. I need to do the final trimming.... -

Thank you jason. I've finished with the breeching rope rigging of all the 16 carronades and the 2 cannons. It's time to test the 2mm aftermarkt blocks using 0,1 mm natural rope to create the tackling for the whole of the weaponry. -
