By now, I can't return to my Le François model. A member of my family likes a lot models from scratch, so I thought on a small one, a longboat. So, it will be a present for her.

 

Based on Jean Claude Lemineur's monograph: The Ship's longboat, I will make it at 1/36 scale using just pearwood. Of course, I don't forget my previous project: Le François.

Platform ceiling and oarsmen's ceiling in place, ready to receive oarsmen footrests and thwarts.

Two crossbeams (aft and forward), used to lift the boat (lifting cringles), are also been placed.
