Ok so I have a quick question. I have built the model shipways 18th century longboat that came out beutifully. So I was just staring my next which is the rattlesnake by model shipways. Now that I'm in to it I feel like I might be in a bit over my head because i find the instructions very lacking especially in the rigging end. So now iam thinking about putting this build on hold and getting the syren by model shipways. I think the instructions are much better and will help me hone my skills before I fully jump into the rattlesnake. Any thoughts or opinions are much appreciated. Thanks Matt.

I don't think the Syren is any less complicated, but the kit is better designed and the instructions are much better.

I think if you build a Syren you are happy with, the Rattlesnake will be less challenging and you will be better prepared to improve upon the kit and overcome any shortcomings.

The fewer the masts, the less complication.  I do suggest, opening a build log as it's a great way to get help.
