Bill135 Posted May 25, 2020 #1 Posted May 25, 2020 Greetings from Central PA. I am a retired consulting engineer. I spent my career designing and building all things water and wastewater. I have a wide variety of interests including truck camper camping and bikepacking (backpacking using a bike). I have always been fascinated by model ships and have decided to give it a try. My first attempt will be the Model Shipways-Sultana, which just showed up in the mail today. I plan to follow Chuck Passaro's Practicum which I have read though several times. I have at best beginner woodworking skills so doing this model will be a test of my patience and perseverance. I don't expect to finish it anytime soon. That said I am looking forward to the build.
