Wanted... Instruction manual for the Peterboro Canoe by Midwest. I purchased a started kit on eBay that doesn’t have its original manual. Does anyone know of a source or have an instruction booklet they could part with?  Thanks

I emailed Midwest and they were happy to send me a pdf of the manual for the Sharpie Schooner. It wasn’t as great as having the manual (that scan’s dynamic range wasn’t great) but much better than nothing. You may want to send them an email.

Not out of business but they stopped making all their ship/boat kits.

Still in business but no ship models: https://midwestproducts.com/pages/model-kits

I figured it was a shot in the dark but they followed up and sent the scan.

John, there are a couple of build logs on the Midwest Peterborough Canoe. You could send a PM to the the the modelers who created those build logs. They may be able to help.

I have their Indian Girl canoe kit, but have no idea how close that manual would be to the Peterboro canoe.  I could scan and email that manual to you if you strike out with Midwest or any of the guys who built the actual correct kit.

Thanks Gunther, I just might take you up on that. It is probably close enough for the direction, I have the correct drawing for the detail. I can also look at all of the great direction I get from the build logs here. I’ll let you know if I don’t find the actual Peterboro manual, before you go to the trouble. Thanks

Thank you VTHokiEE, that worked. I just got an email back from Midwest with a PDF of the manual. 👍
