Matti - I couldn`t think of a different or easier way to do it without cutting apart the decorations.

Tore off the handrails - rebuilding them.Also more painting to do.

Looking good, not many models gets the white line on the galleries. You are fast also.

Thanks I`m still not sure whether I like it or not but after all the tedious cutting & glueing I will leave it as it is.Actually I think I`m a pretty slow worker.

Thanks.Lots more figures to paint.Many of them are incorrect but the one nice thing is they are all laid out on sticky cardboard in the positions that they go on the ship.

Ah thats a nice idea. Billing boats plastic sculptures are unnumbered on sprues, and you have to look at a plan to find what goes where.

Thanks .By the way I know the towers are not quite as vertical as they should be but it`s too late to try and re-do them now.I tried to bend them some before putting them on but bronze does not like to bend very well except where it`s thin.

Super nice. After seeing your amazing galleries, I now realize (thank you) that I have to add some small wood details to mine. Small vertical uprights between the gallery sculptures at gallery upper and lower openings. Though I'm sure that I won't achieve your level of detail (:-)

 

PS: I am still astonished at your white paper scalloping. Whoa!

Thanks also Michael.Luckily for me those small decorations in the openings are castings included in the kit although they were difficult to paint because of their tiny size.  They are not entirely accurate but considering the age of the kit they look ok if you don`t look too close.
