Been a member here for a bit and just realized I hadn't said Howdy.

I actually started building boats as a teenager.  I completed a plastic model of the USS Constitution and did the rigging on a Cutty Sark for an uncle that built the model but after about 2 lines decided that wasn't for him.

Then I joined the USMC and life happened.  Now I'm back to model ships. Currently I'm building a Galleon from Disar Models.  So far the build is going well and I'm really enjoying it.

Hi Glenn, and welcome to MSW.

I'd highly recommend you start a build log - it's a great way to get feedback, help and advice. The members here are very knowledgeable and helpful.
