Nichimo 1/200 Yamato

I have acquired this 1985 model  and the instructions are in Japanese.

Does anyone have a translated set or a later set of instructions in English I can borrow or buy.

It’s a great model with a PE set and motors for motorizing turret, props, etc.,

I have a 1968 series 1Nichmo 1:200 scale YAMATO Battleship model. The plans are very poor and doesn't give much detail at all. has anyone got a decent set of plans for this, if so can you please email them to me at the above email address

good job Lou    I checked to see if they had instructions for the two I have........,  but they don't.  guess I'm still on the hunt

you prompted me to try searching again........I even looked on Scalemates {I joined a few weeks ago}.  the Hasegawa 1:450 Missouri,  I'm not too worried about.......I can source a paint guide from other kits.  the Nichimo 1:50 Shokaku is the one I'm most concerned about......basically for a paint guide,  since I'm not sure with the INJ colors.  I've had these since last Christmas.......or the one before that.......a bit of a blur

Not certain if I can help with actual documentation on either ship, especially the Shokaku. What I know about the painting and other details on WWII Japanese ships would possibly come close to covering the head of a pin.

 

Three people here that come to mind that may be able to help if they are looking in would be Landlubber Mike who has researched and built several IJN WWII ships and may have some inside knowledge he has ran across. The same would hold true for RGL(Greg) who I suspect has accumulated a considerable amount of research in pursuing his numerous builds. My other choice would be Egilman who has built a vast knowledge base on what appears to be an almost unlimited number of subjects both common and esoteric.

it's not building them......the visual aides are good enough.  I just like to know what the parts are called......helps when writing a log or blog.  I know I can count on folks here...appreciate ya look'in
